First MoU under the vehicle replacement scheme targeting pollution reduction.
Benefits: 8% discount on ex-showroom price for eligible trucks/buses; EV discounts capped based on GVW.
Incentives: Central interest subvention (5%) and fuel vouchers for 5 years.
State benefits: Up to 100% motor vehicle tax waiver for 10 years, waiver of registration fees.
Target: Replace BS-IV and older vehicles with BS-VI or electric vehicles.
